This past Saturday I headed out to Balmoral Park in Crete, Illinois for another contest: The Pepe’s Soft Taco Eating Contest!

Competing in this contest were four top competitive eaters: Pat “Deep Dish” Bertoletti, Erik “The Red” Denmark, Tim “Gravy” Brown, and “Nasty” Nate Biller. Also competing were two amateurs and the host of ESPN 1000. At only five-minutes long this was one of the shortest contests I’ve seen, but it was still enough time for Pat Bertoletti to shovel in 33 tacos to win!
