The Fashion Center kiosk at Seventh Avenue and 39th Street in New York City features a giant needle threading what is certainly the world’s largest button.

This homage to the city’s fashion industry was designed in the 1990s by Pentagram Architectural Services.

At an impressive 31-feet tall you’d have no trouble trying to find this needle in a haystack…that is, unless it’s the world’s largest haystack…
