If an apple a day keeps the doctor away I bet that the World’s Largest Apple in Winchester, Virginia would send a whole lot of docors running in the opposite direction.

There are many big birds in this world. From the World’s Largest Pelican in Minnesota to the World’s Largest Duck in Alberta, Canada to, well, that one that yellow one that lives on Sesame Street.
But only one holds the title of World’s Largest Goose: and boy is she a beauty!
In Sumner, Missouri, the “Wild Goose Capital of the World,” this giant fiberglass goose “Maxie”, as she is called, flies proudly over the community park.
At forty feet tall with a wingspan of 61 feet, Maxie could feed a whole city for Christmas dinner…but we wouldn’t do that to such a beautiful creature! Instead we’ll leave her to keep a watchful eye over the park and stand gloriously for all to see.

On January 18, 2007, the City Museum became home to yet another marvelous creation: The World’s Largest Pencil!
At the equivalent of 1,900,000 regular pencils this baby could take a whole lot of standardized tests. The pencil contains 4,000 lbs of Pennsylvania graphite, has a real erasing rubber eraser, and weighs an astonishing 250 pounds!

In the City Museum’s Museum of Mirth, Mystery and Mayhem you can take a gander at the world’s largest pair of underwear! Those are some mighty big briefs!

I have a few friends who can drink a lot of beer. And by a lot of beer I mean a lot of beer. But even they probably couldn’t drink all that is contained in these: The World’s Largest Six Pack!
What’s special about these giant beer cans is that they not only look like can of beer, they actually contain beer! These dressed up storage tanks for City Brewing Company in La Crosse, Wisconsin hold a whopping 688,200 barrels of beer – enough to fill 7,340,796 cans. That is a LOT of beer!
Constructed in 1969, these tanks originally advertised Heileman’s “Old Style Lager” beer. In 200, however, the Heileman brewery closed leaving the fast-aging cans in a state of disarray. Luckily, the plant was bought out and is again making beer…complete with a fresh new look for this giant six pack!
